Rating:250-506-0091 - number used for GRANDPARENT SCAM.
This person called my parents. Came in as PRIVATE CALLER.
My father answered, the person said "hello Grampa, do you know who this is?" and my dad automatically said oh hi (my son's name) I bet you want to talk to Gramma!" and gave phone to my mom, who just assumed it was my son.
The fake grandson talked to her, said his friend got pulled over and they found drugs in the car (and fake grandson was in the car). Fake grandson told them "don't tell my parents, they would kill me".
The fake attorney/lawyer - this time his name was "Harvey Klein" - got on the phone and said they need $6000 to get him out. Supposed to meet fake attorney at my parents home so he can get the money to fake release fake grandson. Gave this number.
Thank god my parents are smarter than these assholes.
I had my parents call local police. Their advice? Don't answer the phone again. No wonder these scams continue.
